Today I had a Skype call with Outsomniac, one of the more active players and supporters of Dogecade. We talk about the Dogecoin and Dogecade communities and discuss some other active shibes (a.k.a. Today I was joined on the show by my good friend and mentor Mike Hagan. Mike hosted his own radio show, RadiOrbit, from 2004 to 2008 on Columbia’s local public radio station, KOPN. We talk about broadcasting, podcasting, drug laws, the psychedelic experience, “finding the others,” and then end the show with a little chat about Altcoins, namely Dogecoin and Bitcoin.

Also, if you’re interested in dipping your toes into the waters of Dogecoin, I recommend following two steps:
First, download a wallet here (I recommend a desktop wallet).

We’re kicking off Bowl After Bowl with a special election edition! I sit down with Mark Flakne, one of the founders of Keep Columbia Free, to discuss the municipal election coming up on Tuesday. We start with a little background on Keep Columbia Free, then we get into the ballot questions as well as some local issues including the city’s efforts to widen Rock Quarry Road and an upcoming city proposal to lessen the penalties for personal cultivation of marijuana.
